Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: NAGPUR TO GOA — THE JOURNEY BEGINS 🚆
Morning: Begin your Goa holiday from Nagpur Railway Station and board your train towards Madgaon, Goa. Since the journey is long, travellers are advised to arrive at the station comfortably before departure and keep their essentials easily accessible. 🎒 Keep your day bag ready with headphones, a power bank, water, snacks, a neck pillow and a light jacket.
Afternoon: Settle into your train compartment and make yourself comfortable for the long journey. Instead of considering this only as transportation, make the train ride part of the holiday experience. 🎧 Create a Goa playlist, play cards with your friends, watch downloaded movies or simply enjoy the changing landscapes outside the window. For a more comfortable premium package, 3A is recommended, while 2A can be offered for travellers looking for a more comfortable rail experience.
Evening: Enjoy dinner during the train journey and spend some relaxed time with your fellow travellers. This is also a good opportunity to prepare for the upcoming Goa days—save your favourite cafés, beaches and music playlists offline.
Night: Overnight journey towards Goa. 😴 No sightseeing is planned today. The purpose of Day 1 is simply to travel comfortably and arrive in Goa without starting the holiday already exhausted.
Day 2: WELCOME TO GOA — CHECK-IN, BEACH & SLOW BEGINNINGS 🌴
Morning: Continue your train journey towards Madgaon Railway Station. Have breakfast onboard and enjoy the final stretch of the journey as the landscape gradually changes towards the Konkan region.
Afternoon: Arrive at Madgaon Railway Station and meet your Bhrraman representative. 🚗 Transfer towards your North Goa hotel. After reaching the hotel, complete check-in and take some time to freshen up. Because travellers have spent almost an entire day travelling by train, the afternoon is deliberately kept free. Enjoy the hotel facilities, relax by the pool, take a shower or simply catch up on some sleep.
Evening: Around late afternoon, begin your first easy Goa outing. Drive towards Candolim and Sinquerim Beach rather than immediately jumping into the busiest parts of North Goa. 🌊 Take a relaxed walk along the coastline, enjoy fresh coconut water and experience your first proper Goan evening. There is no need to chase multiple attractions today. The idea is to let everyone settle into the atmosphere.
Night: Return to the hotel or enjoy dinner at a nearby local restaurant. 🍽️ Try something typically Goan such as fish curry-rice, chicken cafreal, prawn preparations or bebinca. After dinner, return to the hotel and rest.
Day 3: NORTH GOA — FORTS, BEACHES, CAFÉS & COASTAL VIBES 📸
Morning: After breakfast, begin exploring the more scenic side of North Goa. Start with Chapora Fort, one of the best viewpoints in the region. Walk around the fort walls and enjoy the panoramic views of the coastline. 📸 The elevated location makes this a great place for landscape photography and group photographs without spending too much time at the attraction. Continue towards Vagator Beach and explore the rocky coastline. Take some time to sit by the sea rather than immediately moving to the next attraction.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is 7 days enough for Goa?
Yes. Seven days is actually a very comfortable duration if the itinerary is divided geographically. Instead of driving randomly across the state every day, this itinerary begins in North Goa, moves through Old Goa and then gradually shifts south. That reduces unnecessary road time and gives travellers enough time to actually enjoy beaches and cafés. 🌴
Can we travel from Nagpur to Goa by train?
Yes. Nagpur–Madgaon trains operate on the route, including services and special trains depending on the date. One listed service takes approximately 26 hours 40 minutes. Because the journey is long, 3A is a sensible minimum recommendation for a comfortable group tour, while 2A provides a more premium experience.
Is Dudhsagar open throughout the year?
No. This is extremely important for a 2026 package. The Government of Goa currently lists the Dudhsagar tourist circuit as closed to tourists, with the latest closure information updated September 7, 2026. Therefore, Bhrraman should sell Dudhsagar as: "Subject to official reopening and weather conditions." Never guarantee it for a date before checking the official status.
Is Goa good for Gen Z travellers?
Absolutely. Goa combines beaches, cafés, music, photography, nightlife, road trips, local food, adventure and highly visual landscapes. But the better Gen-Z itinerary isn't just clubs. Which is better—North Goa or South Goa?

Is Old Goa worth visiting?
Definitely. Old Goa provides an entirely different experience from the beach circuit. The churches, Portuguese influence and historic landscape reveal a side of Goa that many first-time visitors completely miss.

Is Goa expensive?

Current hotel listings show that 4-star inventory exists around the requested price range in both North and South Goa, particularly when promotional/low-season rates are available.
Should we rent scooters?
Scooters can be fun, particularly for couples or friends. However, for a premium group itinerary, private AC transport is more comfortable and safer, especially when moving between North and South Goa. Scooters can be offered as an optional experience during leisure time.
